Instant Adventure comes to Ember Isle; level 50 characters can now join the action immediately with the new Ember Isle queue available in the Instant Adventure menu. Achievements that are partially completed are now highlighted in the In-Progress Achievements list on the Achievement window. = INFERNAL DAWN NEW 20-PLAYER RAID = Deep beneath Mount Carcera on Ember Isle, Laethys and Maelforge have joined forces to escape the ancient volcanic prison. It comes to the Ascended to fight back their efforts and prevent them from bringing fire and rage to Telara along with their followers. Infernal Dawn is a new Raid zone intended for 20 players who have gained some prior experience and spoils from battling Telara s threats in Hammerknell Fortress. Access to the deeper bosses of Infernal Dawn will be released in several stages following the 1.8 update to give raids time to learn and experience the different encounters over time. Even Hammerknell-geared characters will find valuable equipment obtained throughout the Infernal Dawn raid. = FISHING AND SURVIVAL NEW TRADESKILLS = Two new tradeskills are now available Fishing and Survival, which deal with fishing equipment, catching fish, turning them into handy buff foods, and camping gear that provides the Rested buff. Either or both of these skills can be learned alongside your existing three tradeskills and will not take up one of those slots. See the new Fishing trainers in Sanctum or Meridian, or go talk to the introductory NPCs and trainers in Argent Glade or Kelari Refuge to get started! The enterprising Fisher will find various treasure, artifacts, or even companion pets in addition to food materials. An adventurous Survivalist can not only cook fish into delicious meals - that provide a variety of benefits - but also craft tents and bedrolls to bring some comfort to the outdoors. = GUILD FINDER = To better assist the meeting of guilds looking for members and free agents looking for a guild to call home, the Guild Finder tool has been introduced in 1.8. Press Shift+G, or select Guild Finder from the Social menu, to pop open the Guild Finder for characters not in a guild. Choose from several criteria on your search for a good guild match such as guild size, roles needed, playstyle, and more! Contact guild recruiters directly from the tool; they ll receive a message if online or a mail if not currently available. Recruiters can also accept your invitation request if you happen to be offline, and you ll receive an in-game mail letting you know. For guilds, Senior Officers and above will have access to edit the guild s Recruitment tab by default. Access to the Recruitment tab and flagging of Recruiters are controlled via guild permissions. Guilds can set up their recruitment criteria and enter a description of their guild to control what appears in the Guild Finder. Guilds will only be listed in Guild Finder search results if they have checked the List In Guild Finder option on their Recruitment tab. = LEADERBOARDS = Characters can now compete and compare their activities via Leaderboards that track various stats and achievements in a wide variety of Ladders - PvE, PvP, Raiding, Crafting, and more! Characters will be placed in a League (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond) and Division for each of these Ladders. Compete on the Leaderboards within a Ladder to increase your score, gain a higher rank, and reach a higher League! On each Leaderboard, see where you re at among your Friends list, your Guildmates, the top 50 of your Wargroup, or Divisions that attempt to match your character up against similarly progressed characters. View Leaderboards via the Social menu button, or use the default hotkey ; . Leaderboard positions are tracked and can be shown for the current week, the previous week, and the best overall week (historic high). Your character s League is refreshed daily. In cases of extended absence, your character can rise or drop at most one League, as it will be updated on your next login. At the release of 1.8, Leaderboards will be using some recent historic data, but expect to see quite a bit of shuffling as the first week of live activity is shown. For some of the more involved boards, mousing over the Leaderboard s icon will show a tooltip with details on what activities count toward scores. The Leaderboard for Expert Darkening Deeps is temporarily disabled due to a timing issue. We are working on a fix and will re-enable the Leaderboard as soon as it’s ready! GENERAL We ve changed how quests that grant rewards through the diamond-shaped treasure icon (most noticeable when completing dungeons) are queued before you elect to obtain the reward. These now have a maximum limit on how many can be pending before the oldest outstanding rewards are lost. - Starting with 1.8, cash and experience-only rewards will be granted automatically at quest completion. You ll still need to manually redeem the ones that require you to select a reward. - You will be notified when approaching the cap of pending rewards from these types of quests. You ll always have access to the most recent ones gained, but the oldest ones in the list will be forfeited when you exceed the cap. A new equipment slot for crafted Seal items is now available. Recipes to create Seals are available beginning around level 40/skill level 225 for all production crafting skills with the exception of Runecrafting, and can be found on various crafting recipe merchants. New Chronicle daily quests are now offered. These can be picked up at Raj Tahleed in Meridian or Abbess Katia in Sanctum. Traveling between Porticulums within the same zone now has a cost of 1 gold for Stillmoor, Shimmersand, Iron Pine Peak, Moonshade Highlands, Droughtlands, Stonefield, and Gloamwood. The Treasure UI now displays on the right side of the screen by default, beneath the Rift progress meter. Fixed an issue causing the option to never auto-flag PvP to occasionally be ignored when attacking neutral but opposite-faction NPCs. Nimble mounts (90% speed increase) no longer require you to wait until level 30 to purchase them. They re now available for 25 platinum at level 25. Players can no longer un-equip their weapons while Mind Controlled. I m afraid we can t let you do that, Ascended. Added some variety to loading screens for higher level characters loading into Meridian and Sanctum. Daily and Weekly quests on offer should no longer change after a shard-only restart. Fixed a rare bug that could leave characters locked after transferring shards. WORLD EVENTS By popular demand, the Skirmish in the ________ Zone Events that ran during Phase 5 of the Carnival will now be available as random events in Shimmersand, Stillmoor, and Iron Pine Peak. World Event quests should either be properly autocompleted or removed at the change of event phases. Infernal Awakening in Scarwood Reach will now update from 5 Rifts, as indicated in the event text, rather than 10. RIFTS AND INVASIONS The Invasion Defeated splash text is no longer displayed for Invasions you don t have contribution toward defeating. Same goes for Footholds. Zone events in Scarlet Gorge and Scarwood Reach should have a longer start-up time after the initial announcements. Glowing Puresource will now drop during the Visions of Future Past zone event in high level zones when you re on the Frontline of the Planes or Shield of the Land quests. INSTANT ADVENTURE Instant Adventure comes to Ember Isle; level 50 characters can now join the action immediately with the new Ember Isle queue available in the Instant Adventure menu. When joining an Instant Adventure group in far away lands not yet discovered by your character, you can now respawn at appropriate local graveyards - not back at Meridian or Sanctum. Most Instant Adventure bosses can now be taunted. Death s Approach, Scaldwater Fields, and Firesand Desert have been split into smaller adventure locations to better define adventure objective areas. LOOKING FOR GROUP Group Queueing Updates When queuing for LFG as a group, the game now takes a snapshot of group members at the time of queuing. Once queued, group members can separate, add others, join raids or Instant Adventures, and not lose the queued status of the initial group members. They will not be automatically removed from the queue for changing group composition. Mousing over the LFG Queue status icon will show the names of people currently part of your LFG queue group. Fixed an edge case where a player with unspent Soul Points in a role not currently active would be kicked from the LFG queue when using a Porticulum. GUILD PERK Fixed Killing Spree and Blood Thirsty consuming each other when both were active. COMBAT While in combat, equipping weapons now triggers the global cooldown. If you are already in global cooldown at the time of equip/swap, it will cause the cooldown to be extended. Focus targets now persist if you move out of view of the target - also if the target is a friendly player and they die. Focus Target now displays proper health percentages if you have that option enabled. Fixed taunt abilities like Provoke causing linked NPCs in a group to not aggro with the target. Area of Effect abilities should no longer affect companion pets. Fixed an issue causing NPCs to rarely not face the target of their ability while casting. SOULS A new Ascended Power, Fury of the Ascended, has been created as a replacement for Anti-Planar Augmentation/Holy Champion that is available at all levels. This new ability is granted at level 1, and shares a 1-minute cooldown with Anti-Planar Augmentation/Holy Champion (if you have one of these). Anti-Planar Augmentation and Holy Champion are no longer available to be trained from merchants, though characters that already have one of these abilities will not lose them. Fury of the Ascended is meant to replace these Ascended Powers and allow players to become more familiar with how it works at earlier levels. Added a new option under Settings, "Recast Ground Channels", which is off by default. ※Turning the Recast Ground Channels option on will allow you to interrupt your ground-targeted channeled spells (like Pyromancer s Fire Storm) with a second cast and target area selection for the same spell. Abilities will no longer overwrite other versions of themselves that have superior Soul Tree-enhanced bonuses. Justicar NPCs will no longer use Sovereignty. Updated all ability tooltips for Warrior and Cleric abilities. Fixed a case where the more complex ability tooltips would have incorrect numbers shown. CLERIC A number of buffs have been converted to passive effects to help minimize the amount of rebuffing needed! CABALIST Lurking Decay Now a passive effect. You may need to swap roles once if you first log in with Cabalist as an active soul post-1.8. One less buff to recast! DRUID Druids have been reviewed to increase their DPS viability and address a lack of in-combat movement abilities. Pet abilities will no longer fail due to facing requirements. Brutal Impact Now increases the damage of Fervent Strike and Combined Effort by 3-9%. Crag Hammer Now properly calculates damage when proccing. Fae Step New ability available at 20 points. Teleports you directly to the target. 20 meter range, 15 second cooldown, no global cooldown. Hot-Blooded Now increases the Spell Power bonus of Bombard and Eruption of Life by 5-25%. No longer requires you to spent points in Rage of the Fae to obtain. Rage of the Fae Reduced cooldown to 2 minutes. Shield of Oak Now absorbs all damage types. Increases movement speed by 5% while active. Slothful Spirit The debuff now increases the target s casting costs by 50%. Spirit of the Wood Can now also trigger from Wild Strike. Stone Burst Ability Removed. Wild Strike Now hits 5 targets. INQUISITOR Nysyr s Rebuke Now properly requires line of sight to cast. JUSTICAR The below is intended to make Justicars less dependent upon avoidance (Dodge, Parry). They now have increased mitigation to compensate for these changes. Cavalier Now a passive effect. You may need to swap roles once if you first log in with Justicar as an active soul post-1.8. Devout Deflection Now adds 33-100% of your Wisdom to Parry, and 33-100% of your Intelligence to Dodge. Salvation Now a passive effect. You may need to swap roles once if you first log in with Justicar as an active soul post-1.8. Shield of Faith Now reduces damage taken by 3-15%. Sovereignty Now deals Life damage and stuns the target for 2 seconds. Stalwart Citadel Now adds 33-100% of your Wisdom value to Block. Supremacy Now reduces Physical damage taken by 9-18%. Thorvin s Law Now reduces non-Physical damage taken by 2-4% plus an additional 1.2% per point spent in Justicar over 26. PURIFIER Tweaked the way several Purifier spells stack together so Purifiers are less likely to block a major cooldown ability. Rite of the Ancestors Can no longer be cast on a target currently under the effect of Spiritual Conflagration. Ward of the Ancestors, Gathering of the Ancestors Can no longer be cast on a target currently under the effects of Spiritual Conflagration or Rite of the Ancestors. Restorative Flame No longer suffers from casting pushback. SENTINEL Empowering Light Now only selects targets that have a Poison, Disease, or Curse on them. Healing Invocation No longer suffers from casting pushback. Healing Communion Now heals for less in PvP. WARDEN Fixed line of sight requirements on Cascade, Orbs of the Tide, and Orbs of the Stream. Deluge The Revitalizing Water HoT now scales based on any HoTs existing on the target, not just ones you cast on them. No longer suffers from casting pushback. Healing Flood Now heals for less in PvP. Healing Spray Now heals for less in PvP. Overflow Now heals for less in PvP situations. Soothing Stream Now heals for less in PvP. MAGE The duration of various Mage DoTs are more standardized to help with more viable rotations. Toggled abilities, such as Internalize Charge, no longer cause Opportunity to proc. ARCHON Consuming Flames Can no longer be cast on a target under the effect of Purifier s Rite of the Ancestors or Spiritual Conflagration. Cleansing Flames Now removes one Poison, Disease, or Curse from up to 10 party or raid members in the target area. Only chooses targets that have an effect to remove. Leeching Flames Reduced duration to 8 seconds. Pillaging Stone The ability description will now correctly update the stats given by this buff as you spend points in Strength of Stone. Searing Vitality Reduced duration to 8 seconds. CHLOROMANCER Lifegiving Veil and Lifebound Veil Healing in PvP increased by 15%. Natural Conversion Fixed a case where this could be consumed by an existing damage over time effect instead of on the next damaging spell cast. Natural Healing No longer affected by pushback while casting. Withering Vine Now instant cast. Increased duration to 16 seconds. DOMINATOR Charged Shield Will no longer remove your Mage Armor buff if cast on an ally. Degeneration Fixed an issue with the damage portion not dealing the damage shown in the ability description. Haunting Pain Increased duration to 16 seconds. ELEMENTALIST Icy Carapace Increased duration to 16 seconds. Ignite Reduced duration to 8 seconds. NECROMANCER Corpse Explosion Increased duration to 30 seconds. Necrosis Reduced base duration to 10 seconds. Spending points in Flesh Rot now increases the duration of Necrosis by 2-6 seconds, increases base damage by 20-60%, and increases the benefit to Necrosis from Spell Power by 20-60%. PYROMANCER Ground of Strength The immunity effect now also grants immunity to Banish effects such as Rift Prison. STORMCALLER Fixed some spells granting Charge while Storm Guard is active. Forked Lightning Increased max number of targets this can hit to 8. Lightning Rod Fixed an issue where this was not impacting abilities that chain damage between targets, such as the Chloromancer s Nature s Fury. WARLOCK Defile Fixed Defile continuing to consume Charge if it was cleansed from the target. Empowered Darkness Now costs 75 Charge to cast, but no longer consumes Charge or blocks Charge gain while active. Reduced the damage bonus for the Warlock to 70% while Empowered Darkness is active. 15 second maximum duration. Life Leech Reduced base duration to 10 seconds. Spending points in Improved Life Leech now increases the duration of Life Leech by 2-6 seconds, increases its base damage by 20-60%, increases the benefit to Life Leech from Spell Power by 20-60%, and increases the amount healed by 10-30%. Opportunity Now has a 1-second internal cooldown. Sacrifice Life Damage Reduced cooldown to 30 seconds and increased the damage bonus granted to 20%. ROGUE BLADEDANCER Deadly Dance The damage bonus from Deadly Dance now only applies to Combo Point-generating attacks that use melee weapons. No longer applied to Saboteur Charges or ranged weapon Combo Point generators. False Blade Renamed to Meditative Trance. Functionality changed - now a Finisher that heals the Rogue over 12 seconds. Improved False Blade Renamed to Improved Meditative Trance. Functionality changed - increases the amount healed from Meditative Trance by 25-50%. MARKSMAN Electrified Munitions Damage now scales with Attack Power. Empowered Shot Energy cost reduced to 40 from 45. Eradicate No longer has a travel delay between use and hit. Strafe Fixed a bug where Strafe would not deal damage when channeled on a target-of-target. Vampiric Munitions The amount of healing siphoned has been reduced from 50% to 40%. Healing reduction remains at 50%. NIGHTBLADE Dusk to Dawn Fixed a bug where the Nightrage buff would not be applied if the first tick of Dusk to Dawn killed the target. Fell Blades The amount of healing siphoned has been reduced from 50% to 40%. Healing reduction remains at 50%. RANGER Improved Escape Artist Ability Removed - the functionality has been rolled into the base Escape Artist ability. Shadow Fire Fixed the Shadow Fire buff not applying if the target is killed or immune to damage on hit. Splinter Shot Energy cost reduced to 40 from 45. Steady Hand - New Ability Increases the effect of Attack Power on ranged weapon abilities by 5%, plus an additional 2% per point spent in Ranger above 26. Zardonis Ranger Crystal 2-piece Bonus now also reduces the Energy cost of Shadow Fire by 10. RIFTSTALKER Changed several abilities to make Riftstalker mitigation more consistent during encounters. Improved Guardian Phase Now also reduces damage taken from Physical attacks by 5% and non-Physical attacks by 7%. Rift Guard Now only absorbs 10% of incoming damage in PvP at its base level. Shadow Guard Now reduces Physical damage taken by 3-15%. Zardonis Riftstalker Crystal 2-piece bonus Functionality changed - now increases maximum health by 5%. SABOTEUR The goal of Saboteur changes in 1.8 is to make the Saboteur a competitive AOE DPS soul, in line with other AOE DPS souls like the Cabalist and Stormcaller, but based more on setup rotations for damage. Due to the below changes, character roles with soul points spent in Saboteur have received a free respec for that role. All Saboteur Charges can no longer be parried, dodged, blocked, or deflected. All Traps, except Land Mines, no longer have a cooldown. Shrapnel Charges are now removed when a character resurrects while in PvP. Bomb Specialist Damage increased by 5-25%, up from 3-15%. Now also reduces the Energy cost of Bombs by 1-5. Caltrop Charge Functionality changed - Now causes the target and surrounding enemies to Bleed for 10 seconds when detonated. Damage increased. Carpet Bombing Reduced cooldown to 1 minute from 2. Charge Booster Functionality changed - now increases the Attack Power contribution to damage of Charges by 10%. For every point spent in Saboteur above 21, the Attack Power contribution is increased by 3%. Chemical Bomb Duration of the effect increased to 10 seconds, up from 8. Damage adjusted. Combat Survival Ability removed. Combat Wounds - New Ability Increases the damage of Spike Charge and Caltrop Charge by 15-30%. Combined Arms New ability. Your Fragmentation Bomb detonates all Charges on the primary target. Existing Combo Points on the target trigger Shrapnel Bomb, dealing Physical damage to surrounding enemies. Demolition Specialist - Functionality Changed Now only takes a single point. Your Annihilation Bomb detonates all Charges on the primary target. Existing Combo Points on the target trigger Shrapnel Bomb, dealing Physical damage to surrounding enemies. Embers Charge Now deals damage and causes the target and surrounding enemies to take an additional 5% damage from non-physical attacks. Lasts 12 seconds per Charge. Fragmentation Bomb Reduced cooldown to 10 seconds from 15. High Explosives Functionality changed - your Fragmentation Bomb, Time Bomb, and Annihilation Bomb now cause the target and surrounding enemies to Bleed for 10 seconds. Now stacks up to 3 times. Improved Chemical Bomb - New Ability Available at 20 points. Increases the damage of Chemical Bomb by 15-30%. Improved Entangling Trap Moved from availability at 20 points to 15 points. Improved Spike Charge Ability removed. Increased Explosive Power Damage increased by 5-25%, up from 3-15%. Rapid Setup Reduced cooldown to 30 seconds from 1 minute. Spike Charge Duration of the effect increased to 10 seconds, up from 9. Damage Over Time interval is now every 2 seconds, down from 3. Damage adjusted. Splinter Charge Now deals damage and applies its debuff to the target and surrounding enemies. Reduces target armor by a fixed amount. Lasts 12 seconds per charge. The Trapper Ability removed. Trench Warfare New ability. Increases the Attack Power contribution to the damage of all Bombs, Traps, and Land Mines by 10%. Also affects Detonate. For every point spent in Saboteur above 26, the Attack Power contribution is increased by 5%. Zardonis Saboteur Crystal 2-Piece Bonus Functionality changed - now increases the damage of Blast Charge and Spike Charge by 30%. Zardonis Saboteur Crystal 4-Piece Bonus Functionality changed - now increases the damage of all Saboteur AOE abilities by 15%. WARRIOR Warriors have undergone some in-depth ability changes to make them scale better with Attack Power. The goal is to ensure that, as Warriors gain improved gear, their effectiveness increases in turn. Warriors no longer receive the bulk of their power from just weapons. All Warriors now get a passive buff called Building Fury, which gives increased Attack Power contribution to Finishers based on the number of Action Points used. Finishers no longer have their own individual damage increases based on Attack Points. All damaging abilities have been rebalanced to work with Attack Power being used in a more consistent manner. Increased the Block Absorption soft cap to 60%, and hard cap to 70%. Warrior attacks deal slightly lower damage in PvP at level 50. Effects that grant Attack Points - like the Paragon s Weapon Master - now show up properly in the combat log. Fixed a bug causing Reaver s Enraged Essence to appear to co-exist on a target with Beastmaster s Enraged Companion. BEASTMASTER Effects that increase the damage of Bleeds no longer boost the initial hit of Tearing Slash, Feral Sweep, Flesh Rip, Slashing Strike. Tearing Slash and Feral Sweep Both have been rebalanced due to their Bleed ignoring armor. Enraged Companion Should now properly grant the buff to your entire Raid. Protective Companion should always be removed. Fierce Strike Now buffs the pet rather than debuffing the target, which should help with stacking issues. Flesh Rip Will properly remove itself from the reactive ability UI when used. Primal Rage Reduced cooldown to 15 seconds, increased duration to 5-15 seconds. Now properly applies to the Beastmaster and their pet. No longer gives you the buff if your target has no Bleed effects, but will still consume a cooldown. Slashing Strike Fixed the delay before the ability deals its initial damage. Survival of the Fittest Ability changed. Now increases your damage by 0.2-1% per point spent in Beastmaster, and your pet s damage by 0.5-2.5% per point in Beastmaster. Rasmolov s Beastmaster Crystal 4-piece bonus reduced to 20% to be more in line with other Synergy Crystals. CHAMPION Bloodthirst now gains a 200% Attack Power contribution instead of a weapon damage modification. Cornered Beast Now has a 2.5 second duration, dealing damage every 0.5 seconds. Cooldown reduced to 30 seconds. Increased damage. Deadly Strikes No longer modifies Bleed damage effects. The first hit of Beastmaster Bleeds are still affected. Fixed a bug allowing Deadly Strikes to work with one-handed weapons in certain cases. Destroyer s Bearing Grants an Attack Point on 3-point Elemental or Physical damage-type Finishers 100% of the time. Bonuses from Intense Training now increase damage for Physical-based attacks only. In summary, Destroyer s Bearing Grants 1 Attack Point on all finishers, grants 35% damage bonus to Elemental-type attacks, and 50% damage bonus to Physical-type attacks. Guild Rule ※Last Updated:2010.01.07 1. About this guild 1.1 Objectives We, Banzai Guardian, are aiming to a goal that we can share laugh and enjoy ourselves. We also like to think that our top priority is your "REAL LIFE". This is because we like people who can control themselves and are reliable. This guild is not for hardcore game players, but casual players that are committed to the guild and have understandings on play-stance of others as well. A minimum requirement is that you should know what your class is and know how to play it well. If you are kind of person who is lay back type of person with flexibility and is easy on anything, this guild may suit you well. Your real life comes first and WoW next! 1.2. Active Playing Time Our core play time is from 22 00 JST to 2 00 JST during weekly day. Any guild events, such as raiding, are held during that time or weekend night. You may find our members to catch up mostly anytime during weekend. As for raiding, we schedule its time. You are allowed to attend or leave raid party with early notice, preferably before starting raid, if you have any other plans to do. 1.3 Things We Do 1.3.1. Raid This guild is focusing on 10 man raiding as guild run, however 25 man as pugging. Any 10 man raids that are scheduled as guild run will be arranged by raid managers. Non scheduled 10 man raid or 25 man raid can be arranged by anyone and these raids do not have to follow our guild rules even though there are members from our guild. There are 2 kinds of guild run, which is regular raid and irregular raid. Both should be chosen as most favored raids(1) to go and these will be decided based on guild survey. The guild survey is made every Monday and it is compulsory, for those who have character higher than level 70, to answer the survey. The purpose of this survey is to know "who is available and when". Irregular raid can be held anytime on the condition that there are more than 8 people available for the raid. On the other hand, regular raid will be scheduled on particular day and time. However, any scheduled raids will become available for pugging after every Sunday 18 00 JST. 1 Since patch 3.3 is released, we set guild run raids as followed. They will be re-voted after a while... Regular raid Icecrown Citadel 10man Irregular raid ToC 10man / Any raid that has weekly raid quest 1.3.2. Contents for Lower Levels There is no restriction on low level 5man or any raids lower than level 70. 5man instances can be happened by those who are motivated to do. Any raids lower than level 70 can be held basically once a month after voting for destination on guild survey. These contents are for achievement or leveling so that hardcore conquest will not be expected. Guild master decides if its ID lock may remain or reset. 1.3.3. PvP Contents It is clearly situational to invest yourself in PvP contents. Some may enjoy the battle ground or other may not. There was an example that some formed a raid and join in battle ground. However, there will be no official announcement for the contents. 2. Rule for Guild Raiding 2.1. Set up 2.1.1. WEB survey There will be no longer WEB survey. 2.1.2. In-game Calendar Those who answered guild survey will get an invitation for scheduled raid here. This should be replied by 1 hour before raid starts. And then answering this event will put you higher priority on getting invited for scheduled raid. 2.1.3. Gear Score We set scheduled raid a standard gear score. This score is a guideline to decide who to join a raid only on the condition that there are more than 10 members expecting to join the raid. Rolling should be essential if competing with similar gear score. 2.1.4. Class Balance When raid managers find fatal problem such as class balance in group, according to tactics on bosses, guild master is allowed to decide who to remain and who to switch after discussion with people involved. 2.2. A Late Comer There is no penalty only if left early notice in anyways, such as submitting comments on guild BBS, leaving message to members and so on. Participation during raid progress will be discussed between officers and you based on 2.1.1 / 2.1.2 / 2.1.3 / 2.1.4. If no survey answered or no event replied, there is no exception for you get invite unless the raid group has any spots left. 2.3. Cancellation There is no penalty only if left early notice in anyways, such as submitting comments on guild BBS, leaving message to members and so on. If cancellation without notice happens more than twice continuously, any invitation for next scheduled raid will not be given and there is no exception for this matter. 2.4. Rolling for Last Spot for Raid Group Rolling is essential if people involved are at the same stage based on 2.1.1 / 2.1.2 / 2.1.3 / 2.1.4. The one who lost the roll will be given a guaranteed invitation for next raid. This guaranteed invitation is applied to the same raid you rolled, however is not applied for those who meet conditions of 2.1.1 / 2.1.2. 2.4. Looting Under construction... Stick to old way, DKP system at the moment. Only applied to scheduled raids. 3. Rank 3.1. Guild Master One that manages guild event, schedule and members. Guild master also has a right to promote / demote members under such conditions as reviewing the rank system with officers. Keinsky is the guild master. 3.2. Officer Ones that meet conditions of becoming Veteran and that commit themselves to guild development. Guild rules are reviewed by them. Celeth, Usaginuko and Nekoris are the officers. 3.2.1. Trainer One that gives advices on how-to start end contents, itemization and raid clinic. Usaginuko is the Trainer. 3.2.2. Raid Manager Ones that manage guild raid run and looting. Veteran Those who reached at level 80 and who have been assigned to this guild for over 30 days. 3.4. GUILD TRANSFERS ・ Guild leaders will be able to choose whether or not to move their guild with them to a selected shard after satisfying all of the above transfer process requirements. ・ The Guild Bank must be empty for a guild to be eligible for transfer. ・ If you are a member of a guild that has moved shards, you will be informed the next time you log in, and the same information will be available on the guild window until you transfer or join another guild. ・ If you choose to transfer shards with your guild, the destination shard and faction will always be available to you, even if it is closed to non-guild transfer characters. ・ You will need to meet all of the above individual character transfer requirements. ・ Once your individual transfer is complete, you will be automatically joined with your guild on your new shard. GUILD BANKS ・ Details on Guild Banks will be available once these are activated. GENERAL ・ The Spoils of War comes to a close, and the daily quests and currency no longer drop after the release of Waves of Madness (1.3). ・ Added a wide variety of new artifacts that can only be found by those Ascended that possess Quantum Sight or Omen Sight. New rewards and titles come along with them! ・ The Icewatch Quartermaster in Iron Pine Peaks has a new set of costume armor for sale! ・ The Quartermaster for the Order of Mathos in Stillmoor now offers new costume recipes for Armorsmiths! Collect a set of Refurbished Mathosian armor! These recipes require Tarnished Mathosian armor pieces, which drop from Undead and Endless Court mobs throughout the zone. ・ Fixed expiration issues with temporary runes - they should now behave as expected. ・ Multiple incoming quest-sharing offers will now be properly queued. ・ Fixed a few artifact locations that had fallen victim to being stuck in invisible walls or beneath ice. ・ Starting armor pieces will no longer allow you to try to dye portions of it that cannot be dyed, and cheat you out of a dye item. ・ Fixed a bug preventing you from moving armor directly from your bank into a Wardrobe slot. ・ Lava and Tar no longer have an effect on dead characters. ・ Fixed a number of bugs where runes and other item effects were not being correctly removed when the enhanced item was un-equipped. ・ Item tooltips for artifacts now list if you ve already collected the item if you are viewing the tooltip outside of your completed/in-progress collections window. RIFTS AND INVASIONS ・ With the passing of the Spoils of War prelude, coin rewards for zone wide events have returned to previous levels. ・ All zone events now use the blue shield icon on the map to indicate wardstones that must be defended. ・ Expert Rifts will now be labeled as such on the map when opened. ・ Rift lures and husks now have unique and improved icons. ・ Raid Rift Growth of the Aelfwar Fixed some of Earl Aelorwin s abilities and their interaction with spell reflections. ・ Raid Rift The Golden King The fourth stage will no longer completely reset if a single NPC within it resets aggro. ・ The Scarwood Reach zone event, Double Danger, now correctly shows only 3 locations to defend. ・ The Shimmersand zone event, Scourge of the Sands, had some issues fixed where otherwise eligible players would not get credit for the final event boss. ・ The Stillmoor Rift, Endangered Souls, has more buffer time between timed stages so they progress properly if a stage is completed in the last few seconds. ・ The Damned Spirit NPCs found in some Rift events will no longer hide beneath the ground. ・ Raid Rift dropped items, dropped essences, and merchant-bought essences have been upgraded! ・ Added purchasable Planarite in exchange for epic Rift currency on Rare Planar Goods merchants. ・ Raid Rift loot chests now despawn after 20 minutes instead of sticking around indefinitely. ・ A number of changes have been made to the rewards for Expert Rifts - Every member of the group opening the Rift will receive 4 Crystal Sourcestones if they are able to seal the rift. - Completing a daily quest for an Expert Rift now awards 6 Crystal Sourcestones. - Everyone participating in the Rift has an increased chance to receive Crystal Sourcestone as Rift loot. Due to this, general participants will no longer receive random Rift loot. - Essences obtained from Expert Rifts (dropped and store-bought) have been upgraded. - Ancient Sourceshards have been converted into Crystal Sourcestones. Bosses and events that used to drop Ancient Sourceshards now drop Crystal Sourcestones, and items that used Ancient Sourceshards for purchase currency now use the Crystal Sourcestones as well. Existing Ancient Sourceshards will be converted automatically. - Prices of lesser essences purchased with Crystal Sourcestone have been increased due to the higher drop rates. ・ Additionally, Raid Rifts have their rewards updated as well - Raid Rift essences have been improved in power. - Raid Rifts now always award one Inscribed Sourcestone to every member of the opening group. - Raid Rift daily quests now award 6 Inscribed Sourcestone. - Ancient Sourcestones no longer drop, and have been replaced with Inscribed Sourcestones. Existing Ancient Sourcestones will be converted automatically. - All items previously purchased with Ancient Sourcestone are now bought with Inscribed Sourcestone. - Lesser essences that can be purchased now cost 20 Inscribed Sourcestone. LOOKING FOR GROUP ・ The random dungeon cash reward now scales with your character level. ・ Players entering a dungeon instance via LFG will be unable to use the LFG system again for 10 minutes, or until the group defeats the first boss in the instance. ・ The first player to quit an LFG group before the instance is completed won t be able to use LFG again for 30 minutes, although it will take pity on groups that have had repeat wipes. ・ The Enter/Leave Dungeon option now only works when none of the dungeon party members are in combat. ・ The Group Formed popup now displays what kind of group you re forming - Rift, Dungeon, Quest, etc. ・ High-level players can use the Specific Dungeon tab to queue for low-level dungeons if they want to assist some lower level players through the instance. ・ When leaders queue their group for LFG, each member gets a popup confirmation window for which roles they want to fulfill. ・ LFG party leaders who lose a player and miss the initial replacement popup can now open the LFG interface to request another member. GUILDS ・ Due to changes in Guild Perks, all non-combat Guild Perk points have been reset. The ability for guilds to reset their own Guild Perk points for a fee is under development. ・ New guild perk Tithe Gains additional money from NPC kills that is added to the guild bank reserves. ・ An additional chat message is sent when a guild perk gives you bonus currency. ・ Stealth is no longer cancelled when a guild trains the Rift Extraction perk. ・ Guild Quest Defiant The Enemies of Telara Quest can now be updated in Expert Iron Tombs. ASCENDED POWERS ・ Characters can now purchase the Planar Lure Ascended Power if they missed the quest that grants it. ・ Made it so you can t waste Planarite buying the same Ascended Power multiple times. ・ The tooltip on all Ascended Powers in the merchant window now explains that it grants the ability permanently. CULT SAGA ・ The Life and Death epic quests that require group updates are now flagged as such, and are eligible for group matchmaking with the LFG tool! ・ Saga of the Endless Powers of Life and Air The Glade Orb once again drops for all members of a group. ・ Gnarladon, Cinderon, y u no spawn! You can now purchase lures for Gnarladon and Cinderon at the Sanctum Rift merchants. ・ The Saga of the Endless A Family Affair Some tweaks to make the quest update more reliable after scanning Marsinie. ・ A Snake in Sanctum Katia s monologue now only shows up if you need to summon Cealhaidh. ・ The Icewatch Now only requires Icewatch faction of Honored. COMBAT ・ Mana Regeneration Updated the calculation of mana regeneration to include diminishing returns. This should only be noticeable at higher levels and gear quality. ・ Constant jumping will not cause melee attackers to be out of range for attack. ・ NPCs now have a higher aggro threshold required to make them switch targets within melee range. ・ Stealth Fixed a bug with toggling melee auto-attack would cause stealth to break. ・ Fixed a bug causing the Class Mechanic UI to display effects from other players instead of just your own (ex Stormcaller, Necromancer). ・ Fixed some effects on pets to be lost when teleporting. ・ Fixed an issue causing abilities to fail to work properly against players that had just been stunned while jumping. ・ Fixed a bug causing some pet abilities to be inappropriately displayed as autocast-enabled after training a new rank of a pet. ・ Some procced effects could then cause other procs to go off - these have been cleaned up in general and should no longer occur. ・ NPC Beastmasters should no longer put the Fierce Strike debuff on their target. SOULS ・ Fixed a bug with Peace of the Grave reapplying incorrectly when zoning after resurrecting. CLERIC CABALIST ・ Nebulous Haze Now increases casting time of spells by 25%. INQUISITOR ・ Armor of Treachery Corrected the out-of-date tooltip to match the spell s current functionality. ・ Armor of Awakening The Critical Hit chance increase now displays properly in the Character stat window. ・ Divine Pardon Now reduces threat by the proper amount. ・ Lethargy No longer applies to Harsh Discipline and Aggressive Renewal if you haven t spent points in it. ・ Circle of Oblivion Fixed a bug where Circle of Oblivion could target locations the caster did not have line of sight to. The buff portion is unchanged. ・ Burning Purpose Damage procs are now affected by the Rising Vengeance ability. CHLOROMANCER ・ Due to the below changes, characters with soul points spent in Chloromancer will receive a free soul point respec. ・ Casting speed debuffs will no longer cause Bloom and Flourish to have a casting time if you have two points in Healing Slipstream. ・ Call of Spring Updated description to better indicate which abilities it affects. ・ New Ability Lifebound Veil - Causes Life damage dealt by the Mage to heal up to 5 allies within 20 meters for 15% of the damage done for 1 hour. All other spell damage dealt by the Mage heals allies for 5% of the damage done. Spells that damage more than one target have healing generated by Lifebound Veil reduced by 80%. Life based damage over time effects heal allies for 25% of the damage done by the first damaging tick of the effect. The Mage cannot receive healing from other Lifebound Veil or Lifegiving Veil effects while affected by this buff. Does not trigger a global cooldown. Cannot be purged.This is obtained after spending 11 points in the Chloromancer soul. ・ Synthesis Now increases healing received from Lifebound Veil by 100%. Reduced cooldown to 10 seconds. Obtained at 32 points in Chloromancer. ・ Void Life Now channels destructive energy at the target, dealing Life damage each second for 3 seconds. Causes Lifebound Veil to trigger an extra heal on the target of the Chloromancer s Synthesis buff for an additional 90% of the damage dealt. ・ Natural Splendor Now channels a beam of corrosive energy at the target, dealing Life damage over 8 seconds to the target enemy and up to 8 enemies within 7 meters of the target. Up to 8 allies within 7 meters of the targeted enemy receive healing over 8 seconds. Consumes Charge while active. ・ Corrosion Fixed a bug where Corrosion could hit through walls and other line of sight-blocking objects. DOMINATOR ・ Due to the below changes, characters with soul points spent in Dominator will receive a free soul point respec. ・ Fixed an issue where enemies would sometimes be able to continue casting or using abilities when affected by Mass Exhaustion, Disorient, or Overpowering Will. ・ Mass Exhaustion Fixed a bug in certain builds where Mass Exhaustion would end on all enemies if broken on one affected target. ・ Thunder Blast Will now deal damage and interrupt casting even if the target is immune to the knockback portion of this ability. ・ Charged Shield, Mass Charged Shield Will no longer land on an ally who already has a mage armor buff other than Charged Shield. ・ Transference Now blocks energy and mana regeneration on the target for 7 seconds, up from 5. The interrupt will occur even if the target is immune to silence. ・ Disorient Now blasts the enemy with a burst of negative energy, dealing Death damage and leaving them stunned for 3 seconds and confusing them afterwards for up to 30 seconds. Available after spending 20 points in Dominator. ・ Chastise Removed. ・ New root ability - Traitorous Influence Causes the enemy, and up to 5 additional enemies within 15 meters, to suffer Death damage and lose 30 Power or Energy, or Mana equal to 5% of the Dominator s maximum mana, every time the target uses an ability. This can occur up to 5 times over 15 seconds. Available after spending 30 points in Dominator. ・ Draining Presence Removed. ・ New root ability - Mass Betrayal Generates chaos within the enemy s ranks, cursing up to 10 enemies within the targeted area. Abilities used by affected enemies cause the target and up to 5 additional targets within 7 meters to suffer Death damage; they also lose 30 Power, Energy, or Mana equal to 3% of the Dominator s maximum mana each time they use an ability. This can occur up to 5 times over 15 seconds. Deadly Plague now gives Plague Bolt a 20-100% chance to apply an additional stack of Deathly Calling. BLADEDANCER ・ Contra Tempo Fixed the effect tooltip to indicate that it increases the damage of the next three Combo Point generating abilities. ・ Deadly Dance Fixed a bug where applying Saboteur Charges to the target did not consume the Deadly Dance effect. INFILTRATOR [PvP] ・ Camouflage Fixed characters being knocked out of stealth when re-entering a Marksman s Pedestal. ・ Step Into the Shadows Fixed the cooldown being activated when using any stealth ability. RANGER ・ Killer Focus Damage bonus should be correctly applied to ranged weapons. ・ Prey on the Weak Fixed the buff triggered by this ability not being removed when the character dies. RIFTSTALKER ・ Shadow Stalk Fixed a bug where this would sometimes be available while under control effects it cannot break. ・ Shadow Assault, Shadow Blitz Now properly affected by damage modifications from buffs and debuffs. SABOTEUR ・ Remote Clipping Fixed a bug for the tooltip of Detonate where the range was being increased by 1 meter instead of 2 meters. WARRIOR BEASTMASTER ・ Fight As One Now increases the chance of a critical hit by 5-15%, and increases melee damage by 15-45%. Duration increased and cooldown reduced. ・ New ability - Companion s Call Makes the next pet summon ability instant-cast. ・ Greater Primal Companion Claw Swipe Fixed a bug causing this to occasionally only hit one target. ・ Fixed some bugs with the icon display for Summon Greater Primal Companion. CHAMPION ・ Destroyer s Bearing Now increases the damage of all ability attacks, not just attack point-consuming abilities. ・ Two Handed Specialization Now named Weapon Specialization and enhances all attacks; ranged attacks receive half of the increase that melee attacks do. No longer increases damage on the procced strikes from Deadly Grace, Shifting Blades, and Way of the Wind. ・ Deadly Strikes Now increases the damage of attack point builders by an additional amount for each point spent in Champion over 30. ・ Bash To better match up with other interrupts, the cooldown has been increased to 8 seconds and Power cost reduced to 10. PALADIN ・ Warden s Protection Will no longer be removed when the affected player changes zones. ・ Face Slam To better match up with other interrupts, the cooldown has been increased to 8 seconds, damage reduced slightly, and Power cost reduced to 10 Power. ・ Improved Paladin s Devotion Fixed a tooltip bug that reported the wrong amount of cooldown reduction on Paladin s Devotion. Tooltip now properly shows a cooldown reduction of 10-20 seconds. This is a cosmetic fix only. PARAGON ・ Procced strikes from Deadly Grace, Shifting Blades, and Way of the Wind can no longer critically hit. ・ Teaching of the Five Rings Now enhances all attacks; ranged attacks receive half of the increase that melee attacks do. No longer increases damage on the procced strikes from Deadly Grace, Shifting Blades, and Way of the Wind. ・ Way of the Mountain The damage boost to follow-up attacks has been increased. ・ Paired Strike Now deals Air damage instead of Physical damage. Now causes the next 3 follow-up strikes to critically hit. ・ Strike Like Iron Boosted damage increase to 20-50%. ・ Deadly Grace Now deals damage based on how many soul points have been spent in Paragon. When Deadly Grace is first available it provides the same bonus it previously did, and increases from there as more points are spent in the Paragon soul. ・ New 51-pt ability - Swift Blades 30 second duration, 25 second cooldown self buff. Consumes attack points and increases the damage done by auto-attacks by 45-135% based on the number consumed. ・ Strike Like Iron Moved to a 38 point root ability. ・ New root ability - Reaping Harvest Available with 2 points spent in Paragon. Attack point consuming ability that requires dual wielding. ・ Path of the Wind Now requires the Paragon to be dual wielding. ・ Way of the Wind Now triggers a second weapon attack after using any attack ability that requires dual wielding. Now deals its damage as Air damage rather than Physical. ・ Flinching Strike To better match with other interrupts, the damage is no longer based on weapon damage, cooldown reduced to 8 seconds, and Power cost has been reduced to 10 Power. ・ Bend Like the Reed In addition to enhancing Parry, now also increases the damage done by attacks that require dual wielding. To support this change and put this in line with similar finishers, the cooldown has been increased to 1 minute. ・ Thread the Trees Fixed a bug where Thread the Trees could hit through walls and other line of sight-blocking objects. RIFTBLADE ・ Due to the below changes, characters with soul points spent in Riftblade will receive a free soul respec. ・ Avatar of the Rift Increased the attack power bonus to ability attacks. ・ Elemental Touch Now does damage based on a percentage of Attack Power, which increases based on the number of soul points spent in Riftblade. ・ Enhanced Burst Now a 3-point branch ability that increases damage by 10-30%. ・ New ability - Empowered Strikes Tier 5 branch ability, enhances auto-attack damage by a percentage of your Attack Power. The percentage is increased based on the number of soul points spent in Riftblade. ・ Rift Storm Reduced cooldown to 2 minutes from 3. Fixed a bug causing different icons to appear in game compared to the Soul Tree version. ・ Fiery Burst Should now reliably trigger Enhanced Burst. ・ Riftwalk Fixed a bug causing this ability to not break stuns. Now deals damage to the enemy. Due to this there are now multiple ranks of Riftwalk which can be trained at your nearest Warrior trainer! ・ Improved Riftwalk Now enhances the damage dealt by Riftwalk in addition to reducing the cooldown. ・ Surging Energy Fixed a case where this could sometimes not trigger. LOOKING FOR GROUP ・ The random dungeon cash reward now scales with your character level. ・ Players entering a dungeon instance via LFG will be unable to use the LFG system again for 10 minutes, or until the group defeats the first boss in the instance. ・ The first player to quit an LFG group before the instance is completed won t be able to use LFG again for 30 minutes, although it will take pity on groups that have had repeat wipes. ・ The Enter/Leave Dungeon option now only works when none of the dungeon party members are in combat. ・ The Group Formed popup now displays what kind of group you re forming - Rift, Dungeon, Quest, etc. ・ High-level players can use the Specific Dungeon tab to queue for low-level dungeons if they want to assist some lower level players through the instance. ・ When leaders queue their group for LFG, each member gets a popup confirmation window for which roles they want to fulfill. ・ LFG party leaders who lose a player and miss the initial replacement popup can now open the LFG interface to request another member. PARAGON ・ Procced strikes from Deadly Grace, Shifting Blades, and Way of the Wind can no longer critically hit. ・ Teaching of the Five Rings Now enhances all attacks; ranged attacks receive half of the increase that melee attacks do. No longer increases damage on the procced strikes from Deadly Grace, Shifting Blades, and Way of the Wind. ・ Way of the Mountain The damage boost to follow-up attacks has been increased. ・ Paired Strike Now deals Air damage instead of Physical damage. ALTERNATE WARFRONT WHITEFALL STEPPES - NEW Whitefall Steppes - Escalation In their fight for dominance, the Guardians and Defiants have deployed massive rune cannons to the Whitefall Steppes. Their Ascended armies battle to collect and return Soucestone to fuel these powerful weapons. Capture three Sourcestone from the field and hold them at your base to win. Beware though; Sourcestone can be stolen directly from your base by the enemy. Alternate-mode Warfronts appear on weekends and are highlighted in the Warfront queue UI when available. These Warfronts grant double awards while available. Daily quests for the standard version of Whitefall Steppes can still be completed in the Alternate Mode. Achievements related to Whitefall Steppes must still be done in the standard version. CROSS-SHARD LOOKING FOR GROUP The Looking for Group tool now includes queues from the other shards within your battlegroup when forming instance groups. Cross-shard players are indicated the same way as in Warfronts - Name@Shard. Cross-shard groups cannot contain more than 5 characters but can still be converted to a raid for the UI change. The ability to ignore players cross-shard is currently being worked on. You cannot trade items or coin to players from another shard. This includes Bind on Pickup items under the 30 minute trade window after looting. WATER SAGA STORY QUESTLINE - NEW After the appearance of Akylios, Guardians take a trip through madness while Defiants learn the story of the Faceless Man and help determine his future. The Abyssal have a hand in all of it. The Water Saga is intended for higher-level characters in solo and small groups. You don t need to raid to complete it though you may need to bring some friends for some portions. Start the story after completing either Standard or Expert Abyssal Precipice. Defiants speak to Faceless Man inside the Abyssal Precipice instance itself, while Guardians need to see Cardinal Visc in Sanctum after completing the instance once. Pre-1.4 completions of Abyssal Precipice DO count! New item rewards are available while completing the questline, and rumor has it that finishing the series grants the player a sweet new mount type. CROCNARD! DROWNED HALLS - NEW SLIVER A new Sliver location has been reported to be intersecting with present-day Telara in the region of Lord s Hall in Scarwood Reach. High Priestess Hydriss attempts to break through from a twisted reality, bringing her Abyssal army to claim the Ascended s Telara for Akylios. Enter the Sliver to fight her back on her own turf before she can bring her future into ours! Drowned Halls is positioned as an entry-level 10-person raid instance, with unique new loot to help gear for more difficult challenges. Several new costume items can be obtained from the Drowned Halls sliver and Achievements. QUEST SYSTEM Repeatable quests (daily, weekly, etc) no longer count against the 25-quest limit in the quest log. Collected quest items that are placed in your bank now count toward the total required for the quest and will be withdrawn when the quest is turned in. All characters now have a quest bag attached to their quest log which holds items that are either gained during or required for quests the character is currently on. Looted quest items will automatically go into this new quest bag. You can move quest items around inside the quest bag or move them into your general inventory if needed. Regular items go into inventory bags as usual, and cannot be stored in the quest bag. HAMMERKNELL General population mobs prior to Murdantix no longer drop loot. Added Soul Beacon to Quarry. Removed Runeguard notoriety awards from Matron Zamira minions. Murdantix Fixed an edge case where Murdantix could respawn after being killed. Slightly reduced frequency of Demonic Tar. Demonic Tar will be less likely to double hit players within melee range, and now triple-casts at a lower health percentage. Grugonim Increased the outgoing damage buff of Nerve Damaging Poison. Grugonim s Rampant Decay and Corrosive Bile are no longer interruptable. Grugonim will no longer use Tail Lash immediately after casting Rampant Decay or Corrosive Bile. Grogonim s Corrosive Ooze and Seismic Disruption will no longer damage pets. Parasite Swarm now ticks faster. Grugonim now has increased run speed. Sicaron Sicaron will cast Moldering Decay a bit less frequently, and it will reach a greater distance. Moldering Decay will no longer hit pets. Fixed a bug causing Sicaron to apply Eye of the Void at a lower health value than intended. Vladmal Prime Vladmal Prime will no longer cast Asphyxiating Smoke at his primary target. Boundless Tunnelers will spawn faster throughout the encounter, and no longer have decreased movement speed. Boundless Delvers will spawn a bit slower throughout the encounter. Rune King Molinar Prince Dollin will begin to cast Terminate Life earlier in the encounter. Incorporeal Revenants will deal less damage than they previously did after becoming Corporeal. The projectile portion of Cursed Blows now deals Death damage rather than Physical. Both Rune King Molinar and Prince Dollin have reduced health. Prince Dollin s Rend Life is no longer resistable. Matron Zamira Plenty of Tome achievement should now properly award. Nightmare Spirits have reduced health. They also will wait longer before starting to cast Arc of Night. Matron Zamira will cast Shadow Strike less frequently. Matron Zamira will begin casting Hideous Blast earlier in the encounter. GENERAL Bind on Pickup items can now be traded to other eligible characters within 30 minutes of looting the item. New items added to your bags (from looting, trading, etc.) are now highlighted in the bag UI the first time they are seen. Once you close the bag for the first time after obtaining a new item, the highlight is removed. Souls are now available from your friendly neighborhood Calling trainer. Removed the Soul Quests, although players who currently have these quests will be able to turn them in normally. Added a World Defense chat channel to help with coordination of world pvp activity. Characters must be Level 50 and Prestige rank 2 to use this channel; you will be automatically added if you have an open channel slot. If you elect to leave this channel, you will not be automatically returned to it later - eligible characters can join at any time using /join World Defense. Using the F1 through F5 keys to target party members in Raids should work more consistently and intuitively. Receiving tells while at a loading screen now actually shows you who the tell came from. New transplanar Synergy Crystals have been added to the Rift faction vendors in Sanctum and Meridian. These work with the existing transplanar armor available from Rare Rift Goods vendors in Stillmoor, Shimmersand, and Iron Pine Peak. Aspect of the Ancients is no longer usable while you have full Planar Charges (which would end up just wasting it). The character window stat page now highlights stats that are important for your calling, with tooltip goodness. LOOKING FOR GROUP You can now jump into Warfronts while remaining in the LFG queue and will still receive LFG queue popups. LFG group leaders who previously dismissed the offer to seek a replacement member can now trigger it by opening the LFG UI while in the dungeon. LFG characters who die in an instance while linkdead no longer have to run across the world to get to their gravestone. GUILDS Guild Master NPCs (the ones who sell guild charters in Sanctum and Meridian) now provide an additional service resetting spent Active or Passive guild perk points for a fee. You can now split item stacks, preview items, and link items from within the Guild Bank. Some guild quests have been rehauled for better functionality - you ll notice changes in some Dungeon and PvP guild quests. GUILD PERKS Cache Finder now offers a 15-45% chance to gain an additional Plaque or Mark when defeating an Expert Dungeon or Raid Boss. RIFTS AND INVASIONS Rift consumables now drop in only three ranks rather than five. The first comes from Rift content from levels 1-29, and the other two drop from level 30+ content and are based on player level. Characters of level 30-39 receive the second rank of consumables, and 40-50 receive the third. Puresource containers have also been changed so that Rift and Invasion content drops higher level versions as you gain levels relative to the content. Rifts from the Plane of Life and Plane of Water have been spotted in new locations all across Telara! A number of zone event boss abilities have been slightly reduced in severity and have better warning visuals or casting times added to them. Links in chat messages broadcast by zone events now work properly. Chat channel broadcasts for the start of zone events now go to all level bracket channels appropriate for the event zone. Hit points for zone event colossi now scale based on zone population. Major versions of the Gloamwood Rift The Burning of Gloamwood and Iron Pine Peak s Vicious Squall may now appear. COMBAT Taking certain actions on the Pet Bar - changing pet aggro status, toggling abilities to use - no longer dismounts you. Fixed a bug causing pets to sometimes lose passive effects. Fixed synergy crystals sometimes not applying their bonuses when switching roles after they were equipped. Fixed an incorrect calculation of weapon damage when swapping weapons to a different hand. Corrected some ability and effect tooltips where they displayed an incorrect value for a percent of health healed. COMBAT ITEM PROC RATES Item with proc effects (% chance of X on Y) will now be normalized so that the results of an item proc are more consistent regardless of the ability speed or number of targets it hits. - Abilities that hit multiple targets will trigger procs less than abilities that hit single targets. - Abilities with longer casting times will trigger procs more often than abilities that are quick to cast. Additionally, we ve made a pass on the trigger events for procs themselves to make them more consistent across different items. ==SOULS== Calling abilities are now categorized in the ability panel and sorted alphabetically. CLERIC Addressing issues with Cleric damage Souls to bring them more in line with the other callings. CABALIST The goal of the below Cabalist changes were to make this soul far less confusing in general, reduce the awkwardness of using Sigils, tone down the long and complex rotations, and combine the AE abilities in a way that can use a single, understandable rotation. Decay Renamed Lurking Decay. This is now a buff that automatically generates one stack of Decay every 2 seconds. Tyranny Now consumes (and therefore triggers) all of your Decays at once. 30 second cooldown. Obliterate Reduced cooldown to 45 seconds. Decays triggered from this now deal triple damage, but no longer cause an AE. Sigil of Power Renamed Vile Power. Now available at 20 points. This now works like Tyranny, dealing damage and consuming/triggering all of your Lurking Decays. Battle Royale Increased the health of the Arcane Hand who show up to help you. Ant Farm is now available separately from the Ancient Wardstone, and is available to both Guardians and Defiants. GLOAMWOOD If you manage to die in the two seconds it takes Gwyddon Duskenleaf to remove the Hag s Curse, just revive and speak with him to give it another try. IRON PINE PEAK Iron Pine Melange is now available for purchase from, where else - Iron Pine merchants! The quest flow in Dayblind Hollows has been completely revised. The content of the quests remains unchanged, but the number of trips into this area has been reduced from five to two. The respawn time of creatures in this scene has been increased. Zone Event Planar Chill Fixed an issue where the quest counter could end up out of sync with the number of bulwarks in the zone. Earn Your Keep, In You We Trust Changed the requirements for these quests so the story flow makes more sense. Paving the Way Turned down the thunder spawners outside of Howling Caves. Removed a single, taunting, impossible-to-get twisted artifact location from Iron Pine Peak. MOONSHADE HIGHLANDS In Plain Sight Players can no longer get stuck in the Cloaking Device or fall under the world after they kill the Abyssal Watcher. The Key to it All Players will no longer get a surprise teleport into the rock on occasion. Players can now return to their corpse if they die on the roof of Hammerknell Fortress. Essential Extraction Fixed a visual issue that occurred if you died while channeling the item used for this quest. Burn the Offerings The cages required for this quest now all spawn within the quest area indicator on the map. The major versions of the Rifts Hand of Gorvaht and Heralds of Gorvaht now update the Moonshade Highlands Defender achievement properly. Made the zone puzzle in Moonshade Highlands more forgiving to help players with higher latency. SCARWOOD REACH Now with more greenery! The look and feel of Scarwood Reach has gone through an art update. Corpsegrinder no longer hides out underground, making him less difficult to find. Payment in Kind There should now always be enough Shatterbone Casters within the cave to update this quest. On the Books Cleaned up the presentation of this quest on the NPC you need to speak with - it is no longer a Runecrafting Trainer with a huge list of options shown. Fixed various cases where some Guardian quests in Sagespire could be blocked. Reduced population density and respawn rate in many areas of southern Scarwood Reach. DUNGEONS AND RAIDS Bosses in Gilded Prophecy and the Drowned Halls drop 3 Marks of Ascension rather than 2. Tier 2 Expert Dungeon Dailies (the random dungeon quest via LFG tool) now award a Mark of Ascension in addition to the normal Plaques of Achievement reward. A handful of new items have been added to Expert Dungeons. CHARMER S CALDERA Caelia the Stormtouched Reduced radius of Whirling Tempest. Caelia the Stormtouched Removed the stun effect from Shocking Paralysis, but the ability now hits one additional target. FOUL CASCADE Expert Fixed a bug where players could be stuck in combat after a reset of Tephra Lord Mafricos. RUNIC DESCENT Runeguard notoriety from Runic Descent now extends through Glorified. A new Achievement and title have been added for completing all of the Warfront meta Achievements. Prestige, Favor, Experience, and Notoriety rewards are doubled when earned in Alternate-Mode Warfronts. Achievement credit for standard Warfronts cannot be earned in Alternate-Mode versions. Open-world quests requiring you to kill players for The Unseen and The Order of the Eye now grant more Notoriety. Additional fixes to characters being feared through the world. Addressing issues with healing in PVP focusing on instant and passive healing, reducing the effectiveness of healing for targets involved in PVP combat. This should help with a number of issues related to general Cleric survivability and effectiveness. These changes only affect active PVP combat, they have no impact on normal PVE gameplay Chloromancer Reduced the healing effectiveness of Bloom and Essence Surge when the target is in PvP combat. Druid Reduced the effectiveness of Balm of the Woods when the target is in PvP combat. World PvP Quests The Unseen and Order of the Eye quests (the ones without other players as targets) in Iron Pine Peak and Shimmersand have their objective counts increased to bring them more in line with the time it takes to complete the Stillmoor quests. World PvP Quests Genuine Firebrand, Firebrand s Source Additional Firebrand Power Sources have been added to the southern area of Mage s Mark like the quest always claimed there to be. PVP ITEMIZATION 1.4 will introduce a number of changes to make acquiring PvP gear more enjoyable. Players will now be able to upgrade PvP store items more frequently without needing to hoard Favor to purchase high rank items. Prestige Rank 7 and 8 are now available. New armor sets are available in Meridian and Sanctum. Rank 7 and 8 Armor and Weapons can be purchased with Marks of Retribution. Converted the costs on rank 3/4 and 5/6 Armor and Weapons to use Marks of Retribution and require the previous set s items to purchase the upgrade. Changed the overall cost of purchasing all of rank 1 through 6 sets to equal the previous cost of purchasing a rank 5 or 6 set. Completing weekly PvP quests now grants additional Marks of Retribution, and closing PvP Rifts have an additional chance of rewarding these. Marks of Retribution are obtained for 1600 Favor from PvP vendors in Meridian and Sanctum. Wands, Totems, Shields and Bucklers are now available from the Favor merchants in Meridian and Sanctum. Condensed the total amount of Favor Set merchants in Meridian and Sanctum. Honored and Revered-level rewards are now available on The Unseen and The Order of the Eye vendors in Meridian and Sanctum. Synergy Crystals are now available for ranks 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 armor sets from The Unseen and The Order of the Eye Quartermasters. Rank 7 and 8 PvP armor is no longer filtered to show only your calling on the vendors in Meridian and Sanctum. ITEMS Healing Potions and Tonics from Apothecaries are now on a separate cooldown from Mana Potions and Tonics. The following items are on the same cooldown as Mana Potions and Tonics now, and won t be triggered by Healing items Olde Tablet, Ageless Tablet, Elder Tablet, Timeworn Tablet, and Ancient Tablet. Jon Tom s Pauldrons now have Dexterity on them. Gloves of Glowing Light stats fixed to be more Mage-appropriate. The Banner of Zeal has been restored to its previous - correct - graphic. Damage messages from the Crystallized Ember and the Burning Planar Shard now appear properly in combat logs. CRAFTING New recipes are available on the Armorsmith, Outfitter, Weaponsmith, and Artificer artisan store merchants. These are new Epic crafted items with set bonuses. Each set includes 2 pieces of armor, 1 weapon, and 1 ring to complete the set. Recipes can be purchased for Plaques. Recipes for new materials are available from the various profession trainers for 20 platinum - Enchanted Shadethorn Lumber, Tempered Orichalcum Bar, Steel-Stitched Leather, Bolt of Radiant Witchweave, and Infinite Essence. Each recipe has a 24 hour cooldown and are used in new production recipes. Crafting trainers now sell new reagents needed for the new recipes Ethereal Flux, Magical Oil, Enchanted Lacquer, and Endless Dust. Foraging trainers now sell reagents. Adrenalite, Etherialite, Vitalium, Saintstone, and Thiefstone Augments that require 150 skill or above no longer drop from Rifts and related encounters. They are now only received from supply bags, quests, crafters, or from merchants in some cases. New Artificer recipe Blazing Powerstone, purchasable from trainers at 285 Artificer skill. Usable on main-hand weapons and adds 200 Spell Power for 4 hours. New Weaponsmith recipe Exquisite Oilstone, purchasable from trainers at 285 Weaponsmith skill. Fine Whetstone Now adds 4 melee weapon DPS for 4 hours. Exquisite Whetstone Now adds 5 melee weapon DPS for 4 hours. Flawless and Pure Augments have received a stat boost and are available on the Apothecary Artisan store merchant. Flawless Augments cost 3 Apothecary Plaques. These recipes require new ingredients with cooldowns on use. Augmenting a crafted item can no longer fail. Dropped Augments that previously required 250 skill to apply now require 300. The exceptions to this are Saintstone, Adrenalite, Etherialite, Vitalium, and Thiefstone, which all require 225. Pliable Griffon Hide, Lustrous Griffon Hide, Brilliant Harpy Feather, and Luminous Harpy Feather now require 300 skill. Fixed Augment items getting locked if you closed a crafting window with the ESC key. Apothecaries can now salvage Planar Essences. These break down into planar dusts as well as new ingredients used in Augment recipes. The dropped recipe for Platinum Choker, and its associated item, have been renamed to Ornate Platinum Choker. This does not affect the Platinum Choker recipe available from the crafting trainers, which is actually a different item. Mighty Brightsurge Vial now requires only 1 Twilight Bloom to craft, rather than 2. Healing Philters are now actually useable at the level stated on the item. Reinforced Leather Hood and Shaleweave Handwraps now require 190 Outfitter skill to craft. Reinforced Leather Belt now requires 210 Outfitting skill to craft. This is to fix a previous inconsistency where the learned recipes required 225 skill while the recipe scroll items stated 190 and 210. The recipes for Steel Spaulders, Steel Sabatons, and Steel Vambraces now require 150 skill to learn. Salvaging Shimmering Opal Gorgets now yields Copper Bars instead of Tin. Fixed a rare animation twitch when transitioning between channeled abilities and those with standard casting times. COMMANDS AND MACROS Characters can now have up to fifty macros each. You can now drag items and abilities into the Macro Commands field to insert their names into a macro. A slash-command glossary has been added to the Macro window to better explain some of the many slash commands in the game. Ground target items and abilities should now work properly as part of a macro. The /leader command should no longer fail with the "Invalid Target" message when the leader has a party member targeted. UI/SETTINGS You can now customize overhead nameplate colors for various types of players and NPCs via the Settings panel. Alongside the ability to set new custom colors for group and raid members, the default color for group, raid, and guild member overhead nameplates has returned to green. This can be customized at any time via the Settings panel under Interface. Moveable notification popups! You can now move previously un-movable popup or confirmation windows that appear on screen, such as Warfront or Dungeon queue join/decline notifications. There is now a "Take All" button when reading mail with attachments. Also touched up the Mail UI buttons in general. Added a button that allows you to "take all attachments from all mail items" in your inbox. The Abilities panel now sorts by category and in alphabetical order. A warning icon will now appear on your pet portrait if your pet is capped at a lower level than your character. On-screen messages for quests, errors, raid warnings, and broadcasts are now moveable via the Edit Layout system. Fixed buff/debuff tooltips not displaying a description of the effect. Added new quest indicators for daily PvP quests and World Event quests - including minimap icons, overhead icons, cursors, all that jazz! Fixed guild quest icons showing up as low level quests . New characters will have all minimap icons enabled except for Show Low Level Quests by default. Calling Trainers for other Callings will no longer be displayed on your minimap. Character window sections will now only become visible once your character has something to show in that section, to prevent information overload with a bunch of sections that aren t relevant to your character at the time. Ex Gaining Notoriety will cause the Notoriety section to appear, adding a companion pet will trigger the Companions section to appear. etc. Added a help button to the Soul Tree window to bring up the Soul Tree tip window at any time. When you have a Notoriety capped, the bar now actually looks full rather than empty. Opening the split stack option now hides item tooltips to prevent overlap. Fixed tooltips appearing in the top left corner if you teleported while a tooltip was being displayed. Auction House Fixed a bug in the Usable Only checkbox so that auction results are displayed correctly (less blank pages and half-filled pages all around). Optimized the Guild Roster pane to handle showing offline members for very large guilds without breaking things. I m looking at you, Epic. The Achievement window now properly updates for exploration achievements when entering new areas. Using the ESC key to cancel an in-progress chat window message no longer cancels the resurrection confirmation window. Chat messages for bonus Favor awards have been removed to cut back on chatspam. Bonus Planarite earned is still displayed. Escort quests no longer have the share button shown in the quest log - these are handled by sharing to the group when the quest is first accepted. Quests that require you to collect or craft single items as quest objectives no longer display "0/1" at the end of the objective. Added new loading screen tips to better highlight many new features added since launch. Auction House "no results" messages now shown in the search results area when no items are listed matching the search term. Error messaging is now more descriptive when you fail to use an ability because you lack a required item. Fixed a rare case where the client would always select the same player when mouse-picking targets. Map waypoints are now cleared on logout. CLIENT When combat logging to a text file is enabled, the Rift client will no longer open and close the log file for every line written. Instead, it will leave the file open and flush new data every half second. The interval for flushes can be tuned in rift.cfg with the CombatLogFileFlushInterval value.
